About

‘Bismillah Ir Rahman Ir Rahim’
‘In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful’

This blog, born in February of 2008, is dedicated to Pakistani women in cyberspace be they young girls, students, graduates, professionals, working women, working moms, mompreneurs, ITpreneurs, freelancers, online workers and businesswomen, workers-from-home or home managers.

I invite all such individuals to come forward to stand up and be counted and to let their voices be heard. If you fit any of the above descriptions, you are invited to introduce yourselves on the Community page and also to subscribe to this blog.

The aim is for these talented ladies to share experiences, expertise, job opportunities and possibilities to help each other in further realizing their potential in their careers.

We need to inculcate the entrepreneurial mindset in all our students from the time they are children as this practice has been sadly lacking in our educational institutions through generations. Business opportunities and awareness is another area of focus on this blog.

The Internet phenomenon is providing immense possibilities to netizens globally to get rid of traditional 9-5 jobs and establish successful careers working from home as online freelancers or entrepreneurs.

Women all over the world struggle with balancing work and family. This is even more relevant to Pakistani girls and women where the burden of managing home or rearing children is barely shared by anyone else.

All the more reason for Pakistani women to empower themselves with the awareness and skills to benefit from work-from-home online job and business ideas.
